The Ages of (Rowing) Man
A "Junior" is anyone 18 or under. A "master" is anyone 27 or over. Both use December 31 as the effective date, so your "rowing age" is your age at the end of the calendar year.
Crews in age or grade races should calculate their correct placement by averaging their ages/grades, and , if necessary, rounding down.
