PMRC hosts 3 main fundraising events: 3 Rivers Mini Marathon Taree Summer Regatta Wauchope Regatta |
3 Rivers Mini Marathon - AugustThis "mini" watercraft marathon at half the distance of a full marathon - is both a family fun event, and a training or sprint opportunity for serious competitors. Watercraft of all types - the only proviso is that they do not have an engine - put in at the Telegraph Point Log Wharf, and paddle down the Wilson, Maria and Hastings river, to complete the course alongside the PMRC clubhouse, where a BBQ and jazz band provide food for body and soul respectively . Taree Summer Regatta - January The Taree Summer Regatta is a joint venture between PMRC and Manning Rowing Club. It is held over 3 days on a 2000m course on the Manning River, and is one of the largest regatta events before NSW State Championships. |
Wauchope RegattaThe Wauchope regatta is an 850m sprint course at the Rocks Ferry Reserve in Wauchope. Held early in the season, it is a good testing ground for Junior teams, as they prepare for forthcoming challenges. |
