| The Jury |
| The Jury
is made up of all Boat Race Officials
on duty at the regatta and is responsible for the implementation of the Laws
of Boat Racing.
A Jury is compulsory for all association regattas. Its members must be Licenced Level 1/2 BROs or accepted as a Trainee BRO. The Jury holds office during the whole Regatta. Its decisions must be announced within two hours of the last race of the day. The Jury meets immediately after the regatta to make its report on the races and any disputes which may have arisen. Each member of the Jury is asked to make a report on their area of duty. The Referee compiles a report from this information. |
