This section of the stroke allows the athelete to apply their physical
resources to the movement of the boat. In training 1/3 of stroke time.



Step 1 Leg Drive
Step 2 - Body Swing
Step 3 - Hand Draw
Finish Position
Recovery/Preparation
Step 1 - Blade Out of Water

In this section of the stroke the aim is to get the benefit of the physical effort. Done correctly maximum boat speed is achieved and athelete recovers and prepares for next stroke.
In training 2/3 of stroke time.
