Step 1 - Leg Drive

Points to note
Exercise
  • Use of leg muscle structure is objective
  • Balance on feet important
  • Apply push through feet so that boat passes blade placement.
  • Blades covered.
  • Hand grip - no tension.
  1. Go to start position.
  2. Row 1 stroke.
  3. Proceed to 2/3 strokes


Take time between exercises.


Use only the muscle groups required. Tension in other areas, ie face, shoulders, arms equal waste and tiring. Coach should keep a check.
